Crystal Rusticus
Therapy Intern

I believe therapy is a powerful journey toward self-discovery and lasting change. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your challenges and build the skills to thrive. I specialize in helping clients navigate major life transitions, manage overwhelming anxiety, and develop practical coping skills. Ultimately, I believe that mental health is health; it requires consistent care and maintenance to find true balance and confidence in our daily lives.

What drives my work...

I am driven by the belief that every individual has the inner strength to overcome obstacles and lead a fulfilling life. Mental health should be cared for just as much as physical health.

Why I Do What I Do: I chose this profession because I have spent more than a decade working with young adults and have seen firsthand the transformative power of a supportive therapeutic relationship. I am passionate about guiding others through their healing and helping them realize they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

How I Help: I take a tailored, collaborative approach, using evidence-based strategies to ensure our work together honors your unique history and goals. I help you connect the dots between your past experiences and current patterns so you can make conscious choices for your future.

What Motivates Me: The moment a client experiences a breakthrough, that shift from feeling stuck to feeling hopeful and empowered, continually fuels my work. I am motivated by your progress and your resilience.

What’s In It For You?

  • Personalized Roadmap: We won't just talk about the problem; we will actively work toward solutions, giving you tangible tools and skills you can use immediately.

I combine Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Person-Centered approaches with years of real-world experience as a career transition specialist to help you find your voice and build a life that feels grounded. When you work with me, you choose a therapist committed to a process that is both deep and practical.

More about me...

While my professional life is dedicated to therapy, my personal life is focused on staying grounded and joyful.

When I’m not in the office, you can often find me:

  • Reading, getting lost in a good book, is my favorite way to recharge.

  • Family Time, spending quality time with my three children, who keep me inspired. Also, our dog, Elphaba.

  • Singing loudly to whatever music we have on in the house or car.

I believe my empathy and dedication to personal growth enrich my work and allow me to connect authentically with my clients.

If you’re ready to take the next step toward the life you want, I’m here to help. Contact me today for a free 15-minute consultation.
