Amber Jarve (she/her)
LMSW
Therapist

I believe therapy works best when people feel genuinely seen, respected, and safe enough to tell the truth about what they’re carrying. My goal is to create a compassionate, nonjudgemental space where clients can better understand themselves, heal from painful experiences, and move toward a more connected and meaningful life.

I am driven by the belief that healing happens within safe relationships. Many people come to therapy carrying years of stress, self-doubt, grief, trauma, or pressure to “hold it all together. I value creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel supported enough to explore both the hard parts of their story as well as their own set of strengths.

I was drawn to become a therapist by witnessing firsthand the personal empowerment that people gain from therapy. I saw growth in self-assurance and well-being in myself, family, and friends and I very much wanted to be a part of that process with my own clients.

I am continually inspired by the resilience of the people I work with. Watching clients move from survival mode toward greater confidence, self-awareness, and hope is one of the most meaningful parts of this work.

My Approach to Therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed and person-centered. I integrate evidence-based interventions with curiosity, compassion, humor and practical skill-building. I help clients connect past experiences to present-day patterns so they can better understand themselves, improve relationships, regulate emotions, and make choices that align with their values.

Therapy with me is both supportive and practical. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being honest without fear of judgement. Together, we will work to better understand patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop tools that support meaningful and lasting change.

You can expect:

● A collaborative and personalized approach

● Space to process without pressure or shame

● Practical tools for emotional regulation and communication

● A therapist who values authenticity, curiosity, and connection

I believe therapy should help you not only cope, but also feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in your everyday life.
