Therapist
Now, more than ever, people are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about life. Whether it is managing a difficult relationship, grieving a loss, dealing with daily emotional stressors, or finding their place in the world, they are struggling to navigate the challenges they face. But there is hope, and the answers exist. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can find the answers meant for you. I offer a custom approach for each client in which we explore your challenges and strengths and build the skills you need to thrive. We start with understanding where you are now, and together we put a plan in place for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
My Approach and Motivation
I believe everyone has unique inner strengths, and my goal is to empower you to use them to navigate life's challenges. My approach is collaborative and client-centered; after all, you are the expert in your own life. So, together, we will set goals, explore your strengths, and develop skills for healing, growth, and meaningful change. I can help you navigate a loss or life transition, learn to manage troubling symptoms, or change a pattern of behavior that is keeping you stuck.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs and focused on what is important to you that day, while ensuring our work together honors your unique history and goals. I work to create an environment where you can get what you need from our time together, so I invite collaboration on the therapeutic approach and welcome discussions about an approach that you would like to explore (or avoid). In addition, I invite you to wear, bring, and say what you want or need to help you feel safe and comfortable to be your true self. For example, you may choose to wear your pajamas and slippers or bring a blanket or snack to the session. You are welcome to sit where you are comfortable, including on the floor, and can say what you want, however you want (yes, swearing is allowed).

How I Solve Your Needs:
Integrating a range of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and somatic approaches, along with real-world experience, I can help you understand what is holding you back in life, learn to regulate emotions, improve communication, find your voice, foster healthy relationships, and reach your goals. When you work with me, you are choosing a therapist who is committed to a process that is both deep and practical.
More about me...
While my professional life is dedicated to therapy, my personal life is focused on staying grounded and joyful. Outside the therapy room, I am mom to a teenage daughter and a rescue dog. I love staying active and curious by exploring new places, trying new foods, and getting outdoors, especially in the summer. I am also a fan of hockey, football, trivia, music, and thought-provoking podcasts. I believe my personal life experiences and sense of humor enrich my work and allow me to connect authentically with my clients.
If you’re ready to take the next step toward the life you want, I’m here to help. Contact me today for a free 15-minute consultation.
